About

In December of 2007, I became interested in peer-to-peer lending, so I created an account on Prosper.com. In learning more about Prosper, I read a few posts by the Lazy Man on the official Prosper Blog. This led me to his blog, where he provides a lot of useful information about personal finance. As I read more on his blog, I came to find out that his primary alternative stream of income comes from revenue generated by his blog. That was my primary inspiration to create this site. He even had an article with some excellent suggestions for new personal finance bloggers. In order to avoid failure in my new endeavor, I’m going to try to stick to two simple rules:

  1. I will post at least once a week.
  2. When I find something interesting, I will blog about it.

I think that if I can stick to these rules along with following Lazy Man’s advice, eventually I might be able to make a few extra bucks with this blog. It wasn’t long after I decided to start blogging about money when RateLadder read one of my articles and asked me if I would like to write a guest post on the official Prosper Blog. I was more than glad to oblige, so I wrote an article for him. Hopefully it will be the first of many posts I make on the official Prosper Blog, as well as on wealthboy.com. Wish me luck!
